I’m very happy for them. They really had big しんぽ these days, which made them dominate the two games. Congratulations to them all.
I think the key reason they can win so easily is that they destroyed the first mid tower very early and gave their enemies huge vision pressure in both of the two games. You can see when they took the Atakhan in the first game, no one in DC team were able to come close to start a team fight or steal the Atakhan. But in the second game’s Atakhan fight, they didn’t destroy enemy’s ward and failed to stop Wukong, and that is the only potential turning point for RR team; if Wukong steal the Atakhan and win this teamfight, everything could be changed. Except that, their decision making in these two games was perfect. Especially in the second game they chose to destroy the mid tower instead of going to the dragon pit after they won the teamfight (Yuuhi has made a clear call one and half minutes before the teamfight that this dragon could be given up).
In the last RR CORE game’s clip I’ve said that if I were Yuuhi, I will help Yauji more and take the voidgrubs and herald instead of the dragon. We now have seen that Yuuhi did do the same thing that I’ve said, and it worked very well. They destroyed many towers and suppressed RR CORE’s top. Another thing worth noting is that Yuuhi made the most of the information when Wukong showed up on the other side of the map. She made at least 4 successful ganks and took their second dragon when knowing Wukong was not nearby.
In the first game, Brand was a trap for their enemy. When Ornn, Viego and Maokai gathered to kill Brand, the only thing Brand needs to do was to press R and die, and Rumble’s R will easily kill all three of them. But it seemed that Yuuhi didn’t do it on purpose? I’m not sure.
And Kamito really carried the game. Shaka used Jinx’s E quite well. Mea made many important calls and controls. Their amazing performance gives us two wonderful snowball games. GGWP!
